See clearly. Experiment. Change with courage.

Executive and team coaching grounded in deep trust and cross cultural experience.

In one on one and group sessions, Joonki Song, executive coach, connects various resources to specific situations. The center of every engagement is helping clients see clearly, experiment, and be courageous.

See clearly

Knowing your strengths, values, and purpose.
Understanding others and your relationships with an open, objective eye.
Recognizing the patterns that no longer work.

Experiment

Trying new behaviors in small, low risk steps.
Stepping into what feels unfamiliar, difficult, or daunting.
Learning from each attempt and applying what you discover.

Change with courage

Reflecting honestly on what each experiment reveals.
Adjusting and continuing, even when progress feels uncertain and unnerving.
Making shifts that are meaningful and lasting.

“Shimoo”, meaning deeply trusted friends, makes courage possible.

About Joonki Song

Joonki Song is a certified executive coach, leadership coach for MIT Leadership Center and a cross-cultural business consultant bringing 20+ years of corporate experience from across multiple countries including Germany, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, and China to his clients. He focuses on coaching C-suite executives, newly promoted leaders, and coaches leadership teams. His clients span diverse industries, including life sciences & healthcare, tech, consulting & banking, and startups.

When he took the role leading a small business with P&L responsibility, he felt validated. Two years later he was removed from the role. It was puzzling and painful. And it also led him to understand his strengths and patterns no longer worked. Through reflection, learning, and many experiments, he found his way to becoming an executive coach. He is still experimenting, and still learning that even small changes take courage.

Coaching with Joonki

Joonki builds his coaching practice on deep mutual trust and thoughtful, direct conversations. Grounded in his natural inclinations toward deep listening, pattern-making, and exploration backed by cross-cultural business experience, he strives to help clients see themselves clearly, experiment with new behaviors, and find the courage to make meaningful changes. He guides clients toward discovering their own values and talents, seeing possibilities from different angles, and strategizing actionable, practical steps. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer on topics related to high-functioning teams and cross-cultural leadership.

Joonki enjoys structured wine tasting, playing tennis, skiing, and photography. He finds inspiration in solo trips to different parts of the world and incorporates writing into his personal growth efforts. He lives and works from the greater Boston area.
